One Night with Fanny Brice

A heartfelt "Thank you" to, Dan Scherer from all of us involved in the Staged Musical Reading of, "One Night with Fanny Brice" at Whipporwill Hall in Armonk, NY!  Your sound set up was impeccable and enhanced our show quality beyond our expectations.  We received glowing compliments about the sound for this show by people attending the theatre for the first time, returning, and some that have done musicals there before!   You worked swiftly and tirelessly to correct any and all issues present in the theatre, and EVEN taught our sound board operator, at a record pace, how to run the entire thing.  We are eternally grateful for you artistry and design.

I'd like to give a shout-out to Dan Scherer, the unsung hero of the Armonk Players who always goes the extra mile.

In that booth at the back of the audience, Dan makes magic!  He's the first in the theater, waiting for the rest to arrive with lights on and ready to go and he is the last to leave, turning out lights and locking up.  He creates the magic with his technical skills, bringing the stage to life with sound and light.  He attends every Board meeting, often supplies scripts, is always the one most prepared.  Without Dan there would be no Armonk Players.

​Music Video Shoot

 

​As a first-time director, I would have been totally lost without the skill, patience, and care of our lighting/stage tech Daniel Scherer. When we needed a hand on deck, he was there. When we had questions, he had answers. A shooting day that seemed insurmountable was made possible thanks to Dan's considerable expertise. Professional, friendly, and  endlessly helpful. I cannot recommend Dan enough. If you need a stage production tech in Westchester who will go above and beyond, Dan is your man.
